Liversedge 27th November

“10 men, we’ve only got 10 men”

After a superb fight back,  from 2-0 down and, being harshly down to 10 men, that saw Staveley Miners Welfare grab a point away to title favourites Brighouse Town, we welcome....

Liversedge @ Home - 27th November 7:45pm

“Sedge” were formed from the remnants of the towns rugby club  and switched codes in 1910. Perhaps the clubs most successful period was in the 1920s when three  West Riding County Amateur league titles were won on the bounce with a further two being added in the mid 60s.

They joined the NCL in 1982 and have had some success however ground grading issues have hampered further progress up the football ladder.

Liversedge sit one place and seven points above us going into the game however we do have five games in hand - I’ll leave you to discuss the age old problem of games in hand v points in the bag.
