The current Staveley Miners Welfare FC began life in 1989 following
Sunday League side Nags Heads decision to form a Saturday side. After finishing
second in the Chesterfield Amateur League “The Welfare” Enjoyed a meteoric rise
through, firstly the County Senior League and then the Central Midland league
before being accepted into the Northern Counties East setup in 1997 where they
currently reside.

Home since the beginning Inkersall Road has seen massive development from nothing more than a playing field to the current top class non league venue. which hosts not just our teams but local cup finals and County Fa teams.
Directions
From the North: Exit the M1 Junction 29a, 3rd exit at the roundabout, 3rd exit at the second roundabout, first exit at the third roundabout (straight on), then the 4th left down Cemetery Lane. At the end Turn Right and the ground appears on your left after roughly 100 yards.
From the South: as above but miss out the first roundabout.
From Chesterfield: A619, towards Staveley then turn right at the traffic lights after the Healthy Living Centre.
